Wine Enthusiast Course – Wine 101 @ Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management Institute in Little Rock

With over 5,000 different wine grape varieties growing around the world, only a dozen have risen to a status of being considered amazingly great. During this class, you’ll explore the basic profile of some of the world’s finest grapes and learn why some grapes make better wine than others.

Join Wine Educator Lorri Hambuchen in an interactive course that allows you to discover why some marriages are magical, and others…not so much. You will explore how to identify, evaluate and make the most of the unique flavors, textures and aromas of a variety of wines and foods.

Most important, you’ll leave with the confidence you need to create satisfying – and oftentimes surprising – matches either for dinner, your next party, a grill out or just effortless enjoyment.

WSET Level 3 Award in Wines Online Class @ WSET Global Classroom

The Level 3 Award in Wines course includes eight interactive classes over a 16-week period.

Students register through The Wine Center and sit the exam at one of our satellite locations, but take classes in a digital, global classroom. An instructor from the WSET® leads the course, which includes sixteen weekly, interactive classes.  Each week covers a new topic and students can log in whenever they want during the week. The online program has a set start and finish date for the week but no set class time.

Successful candidates receive the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines.

Students register through The Wine Center and sit the exam at the Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management Institute at the end of the class on the second day. A WSET certified instructor leads the course.

Successful candidates receive the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines.

Each and every one of us has ever so slightly different sense of taste, which means that not all wines are going to appeal to all people.

Join Wine Educator Lorri Hambuchen on an exploration to enjoy wine to the fullest.  You don’t need to know every single wine style in the world. You don’t need to memorize every wine grape and every wine region. All you really need to start your journey into knowing YOUR wine style.
