The Level 2 Award in Wines course includes six interactive classes over a five-week period. Students register through The Wine Center and sit the exam at one of our satellite locations, but take classes in a digital, global classroom. An instructor from the WSET® leads the course, which includes six interactive classes.
Each module includes a series of independent activities to help students understand wine label terminology and recognize the styles produced by the main grape varieties in key wine regions. Each week covers a new topic and students can log in whenever they want during the week. The online program has a set start and finish date for the week but no set class time.
Students will taste a range of wines during their studies. A list of recommended tasting samples will be given in the course specifications. Students can post their tasting notes in the Online Classroom for review by the educator.
Successful candidates receive the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines.
